Angela Perley & the Howlin' Moons at Skully's Music Diner

I was invited to a special holiday CD release party for Angela Perley & the Howling' Moons on December 8th. I had to see Star Wars late the night before to make this happen. It was a good decision. The entire show was great.

Angela Perley sings Hurricane.

Chris Connor and Angela Perley outperform most Columbus local bands.

Even though Skully's Music Diner has recently updated their stage lighting, lighting was still an issue.

I arrived half an hour early to pick up the new release. Moments after I arrived, lead guitarist Chris Connor approached and introduced me to a friend saying, "You should see this guy's photographs. He'll get you on a billboard." This was the second time I've heard about these billboards, but have yet to see one. Although I may have behaved shy, it was great to attend an event where the band was as excited to see me as I was to see them.

The openers from Dallas, Somebody's Darling put on a great performance and a great vibe to get things going.

I got to meet Angela's biggest fan who dressed to the theme of one of the band's new singles—White Doves.

I didn't get to stay for drinks with the artists afterward, but I did say good night to Angela and express my excitement to hear the new disk. It is currently the only CD in my car, and I'm often spamming track #5.
