I've seen a lot of technically accurate photographs from the pit with boring composition. Trying to capture the action, feel, or magnitude of the event takes more than technical skills. These performances are the most challenging and fun because we have no control over the lighting or movement of the subject, We have to constantly adjust our settings or miss out on the close up, crowd surfing, or sweet jump.
Please note: No artists have endorsed Harry Acosta or his photography. These are simply samples of photography.
Call it people watching or the art of street photography, but if you're only focused on what's happening on stage, you're missing half the energy. These are the patrons of concerts, events, and life.
