I was invited to a special holiday CD release party for Angela Perley & the Howling' Moons on December 8th. I had to see Star Wars late the night before to make this happen. It was a good decision. The entire show was great.

Even though Skully's Music Diner has recently updated their stage lighting, lighting was still an issue.

I arrived half an hour early to pick the new release. Moments after I arrived, lead guitarist Chris Connor approached and introduced me to a friend saying, "You should see this guy's photographs. He'll get you on a billboard." This was the second time I've heard about these billboards, but have yet to see one. Although I may have behaved shy, it was great to attend an event where the band was as excited to see me as I was to see them.

The openers from Dallas, Somebody's Darling put on a great performance and a great vibe to get things going.

I didn't get to stay for drinks with the artists afterward, but I did say good night to Angela and express my excitement to hear the new disk. It is currently the only CD in my car, and I'm often spamming track #5.
